Project Name: MFL MarMac CSD Bus Barn
Project Location: 529 W. Davis Street, Monona, IA 52159
Project Description: The project consists of constructing a new maintenance facility and bus garage. The base bid includes the construction of a 60-foot by 80-foot maintenance building, while an alternate bid covers the entire project, which adds a 60-foot by 140-foot bus garage. The work will involve commercial wood post-and-frame construction, concrete foundations and slabs, and interior finishes such as gypsum board with painted surfaces, casework, interior liner steel, and railing systems. The scope also includes complete mechanical, plumbing, and electrical installations, as well as civil construction for site preparation and related work. All construction must comply with applicable codes and standards, and bidders should provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project as specified.
Pre-Bid Conference: A pre-bid meeting for all Contractors, Subcontractors and suppliers will be held at the MFL MarMac Community School District on January 14, 2026 at 2:00 pm local time. Following the meeting, the meeting will be continued at the project site, weather permitting.
Bid Filing: All bids must be filed at the administration office, located at 700 S. Page St., Monona, IA, on or before 4:00 pm local time, January 28, 2026. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.
