Martin Gardner Architecture has worked with the City of Anamosa since 2021 on a three phase Downtown Revitalization Project funding by Community Development Block Grants. The project restored a total 33 building storefronts in the downtown Anamosa area that were considered to be in “slum” conditions. Phase I of the project was awarded the “Best Commercial District Project” award by Preservation at it’s Best in 2023.
