Independence Library

Adjacent to the historic Lee Mansion in Independence, this new facility was designed to compliment the mansion by incorporating 3 core buildings. The resulting project included a new main entry space, restrooms, and a program space in the “carriage house.” The library section it hosts a main stack and teen areas in the “barn” area as well as a modern aluminum and glass central core which houses more stack space, study rooms, and administration spaces
