Kalona Community Center | 35,000 SF | Kalona, Iowa
This project is unique in that it exemplifies our approach of providing communities more with less resources. Beyond serving as a recreation center, the project also houses a police office, City Hall, Council Chambers, and after-school community room, and a physical therapist office with the recreation center being run in partnership with the YMCA. As a result of this project, membership in Kalona’s recreation center grew by three-fold.
