In collaboration with the Marion Parks Department, of which MGA has worked with in a professional and on personal levels in the past, this new 14,800 square foot parks maintenance building was designed. The facility houses offices and storage garages for parks staff as well as a FEMA rated 361 Tornado Safe Room which doubles as a party rental facility. A seven bay storage and equipment garage was constructed of poured concrete with a wood roof structure. At this time, the building is the only LEED Gold Certified building in Marion.
